This comes amid The Open Network (TON), the blockchain that Notcoin uses, matching Ethereum for daily active wallets. Notcoin has racked up a player base of 35 million users, hitting a peak of five million daily active users back in March. But it wasn’t enough for TON to flip Ethereum’s daily active wallets. It wasn’t until May 17 when TON flipped Ethereum for the first time. The two networks traded places a couple of times until June 2 when TON led the charge for nine consecutive days, according to Artemis Terminal. Since June 10, the pair have been neck and neck. At the time of writing, TON is currently trailing by only 4,000 daily active addresses. In turn, TON is up 5% in the past 24 hours and 5.5% over the past week, according to CoinGecko data. The Open Network has had a good 2024. After the success of Notcoin, a slew of new Telegram-based games launched. And the team has said it has plans of releasing a token on the network. Recently the clicker game Hamster Kombat hit 100 million players, claiming the crown for the single largest Telegram channel.
